It's 1st of December, Romanian independence day, so it is obvious that we must have a Romania appreciation thread.

Since the day we raided the Byzantines together as pagans, through Christianization, ottoman and austro-hungarian occupation, to the day you stood against the EU, through thick and thin, we've been brothers. A thousand year bond is not something that can be easily forgotten or abandoned. I love Romania almost as much as I love my own nation, and I wish you a happy independence day, and am looking forward to a thousand more of those to come! Also Bucovina, Moldova and Odessa are all Romanian
