I remember rewatching the last episode of NGE numerous times back when I was a kid. I liked the stereotypical harem slice of life style it had. There was not much anime like that back then, and I couldn't get my hands on the ones there were, so I enjoyed those ten minutes of Shinji's alternative school life reality to my hearts content wishing that was me.
Kids these days have it so easy with their blazing fast internet connections and tons of ecchi school animes, I'm jealous...
