This shit fucking grinds my gears. Imagine advertising an event, but only telling the time in American time zones. You had the space for three separate time zones and you didn't even dedicate one of them to a global standard like UTC? I don't care that you're an American-based company, your announcement has global relevance, you know international people will be watching, and it's even in your best financial interest to appeal to more than 5% of the world population. God damn I'm pissed.
