>>917215It's the old "History is written by the victors" thing, but yeah there is a massive lack of understanding, I know Hollywood tries to portrary the germans on D-day as monsters mowing down countless allied troops but it fails to show that the Germans were terrified, especially sue to the fact that a lot of them were third rate troops and they faced overwhelming allied fire support.
