Why do so many people like touhou? It looks like a mediocre repetitive bullet hell game and the fan art is better than the art in the games. Can someone who genuinely enjoys it explain why you like it?

Basically all Touhou games is run in a same game engine by ZUN. The older Touhou games were run in much older engine. But as for repetitiveness, it is to some extent. The only difference are the music, stages, bosses, and the basic mechanics.

i just played all the games in release order and skipped some lole
play the first five after youre done with the rest, i suppose. theyre not really that fun in my opinion
