I can't really blame them, the time I was there, a bunch of Indian workers caused like the first public riot since 1962 or something. And a lot of rapists and molesters in crime lists would be Indian or Arab or similar.
Idk about Malays though, they seemed pretty cool for the most part. But they were poorer and generally you can see like one Hijabi Malay woman carrying around like 3-4 kids
