yeah i have lots of old /vr/tier games especially on cd still. rollercoaster tycoon plus its expansions, rollercoaster tycoon 2, diablo 1, hellfire, 2, and LoD, dune 2000, delta force task force dagger, starcraft 1 and broodwar, warcraft 2, warcraft 3 and frozen throne, lots of weird games i got from cereal boxes when i was in elementary school, civ 2, civ 3, also got battlefield 4 and skyrim on cd for some reason

I think most people just get their old games from Steam or pirate them/download as abandonware. This is my simplified order of priority: abandonware > GOG > physical > Steam > every other marketplace

Nice, I had Diablo and StarCraft too but sold them since Blizzard gives them away as freeware now.
I also didn't know Battlefield 4 existed on CD.

I've got a copy of Morrowind and Civilization V. But it does seem like everything is moving towards downloading the game files rather than having them on a CD-ROM. Or a floppy if you go back far enough.
Pretty soon, cloud-gaming will be a thing and you won't even have the game files on your computer at all, except while you're playing the game. Seems a bit retarded to me though, because then you could never play offline.
