The situation this board finds itself in does not make people want to produce OC nor write a well thought post/thread. Anyone that's been here for long enough will grow apathetic to a certain level. It is for the best you take a leave, be it just for a week or two. You're one of the very few posters that still care about this board. It is fairly obvious you will never get people to respect and learn about this board when two thirds of the time it is under spam or experiencing drama, that is without accounting the nu internet culture. So might as well stop eroding your mental state; There is always an end to all things good, it is imperative to learn how to say goodbye to something instead of latching onto it.
