>>9241176i got through school entirely on merit, there's not a lot of room to bullshit in STEM. i think only once did i explicitly ask a group to let me just sign my name at the top of a project and get credit for it, and that was for fucking interface design when i had many other bigger projects to work on
i did have essays i had to write for scholarship and those were kinda bullshitted, but what essays aren't just bullshit served on a platter? gotta get past the affirmative action somehow and it's not gonna be with simple honesty. i don't think i directly lied in the essays but i did embellish my life's sob stories a bit to make it sound like they were giving a leg up to the poor and weak
