>>9261898well i'm playing a guy who wants to take his god complex literally and use dragon blood to ascend to godhood. as a stepping stone he became a warlock bound to a patron that detests dragons with all their being figuring he could just serve them until running into a dragon, kill it in their name, then ascend and overthrow his own patron.
the party has now run into a dragon who's goals align with the ours so we're helping each other out. that means my options are basically to commit suicide trying to take on the dragon and the party at the same time or having my patron take away all my magic and then potentially begin hunting us down for letting a dragon live let alone cooperate with one.
i think what i'm going to try to do is just let the current patron know the jig is up and sever ties with her then attempt to make a pact with something new as quickly as possible to get my magic power back
even if that all goes through without a hitch i still ultimately need to find a way to kill the dragon
