I just gave up on holidays after losing my mom and what family I had left. I dragged the tree out from the shed but it's still in the box laying in the floor. Just felt pointless to have a tree up only for myself.

It's been very hard the last two years. It's fine as you literally had no idea. But no I don't have any other family. Not that has anything to do with me anymore anyways. Sadly American families are extremely divided and broken. It's a real shame. I never imagined anything like this when I was kid growing up in the '90s.

Its -40 rn and its only gonna get colder. Idk whats iceland climate is but if you ask me -40 is far from perfect for anything other than freezing to death.
