>>9288135it's probably the most active thread because people on this board don't have discussions, they just act like memelords who try to oneup each other. so most threads die before hitting 30 posts because no one says anything interesting.
as for what's appealing about kpop, for me it's catchy and wholesome songs, nice choreographies, colorful videos, cute girls and most importantly not as ugly or vulgar as western music. these western artists all look like drugged out whores, fags, or 80 iq baboons.
is it true that it's just pop music? yeah. but i never considered myself any music patrician, i just like things that sound good.
is it true that it's just repackaged western pop music? i keep hearing this but honestly i don't see much evidence for it, except for the occassional song that's a straight up copy of some american song. that happens like twice per year at most though.
are the conditions for the artists in the industry bad? yeah, depending on the company (kpop groups all work under a specific agency that handles their training, music and video production and pr). but i don't work for amnesty international so idgaf, i just want to listen to enjoyable music that doesn't look downright satanic, like western music does.
>>9288154you mean the usual pearl clutching redditors or some other response?
someone pointed out in another thread that busters have the same agency as berry good. dark and sleazy days ahead if that's the case. but at least they work with people who know how to make good songs.
