I was a NEET for one year after dropping out of my sophomore year of college.
I took the extra time to learn playing the guitar, start lifting, do a lot of reading, learn to cook and generally enjoy life without any worries about upcoming exams.
I also took more time to hang out with friends again and when they asked what I was doing I just lied and told them I work part-time for a printing company until I figure out what I want to do.
For my whole life i've suffered from performance anxiety.
Exams felt like hell slowly moving closer and for about a month before any major test I had issues sleeping and eating.
It felt amazing to finally live without any major stress factors in my life.
After a year of that I found work at a local company and my work involves a bunch of traveling.
Couldn't be happier with my decision of becoming a NEET for a limited time.
