I'm most interested in the idea of a broad range of right wing/reactionary/center right/libertarian creative people working to develop a new scene.
I know that sounds a bit vague, but think of it as a counter to the fact that most creative people seem to be leftist.
Also, I do think that philosophy is important to art and philosophy is very interconnected with politics. So an artist should be political, but subtly is very important.
I personally would love to see a popular right wing band that doesn't play pop-country music.

Visual artist here. Have worked professionally as a sculptor/moldmaker and am very skilled. Have been trained by industry professionals as well as classically trained by fine artists. Currently teaching myself painting because that shit is way easier to sell that sculpture. Getting pretty decent with the painting at this point. AMA I guess.

Most of my sculpture work was filled with both philosophy and esoteric subject matter. Then I realized that fucking nobody is interested in that. (((Art collectors))) only pay out for degenerate garbage and normies only pay out for kitsch. I'm currently aiming to go with the lesser of two evils and doing kitsch landscapes because I want to be able to actually pay my bills. It is what it is. Gotta pander to the market if you want to make your rent.

The upcoming culture has to have spiritual ethos to it in order to present itself as something radical and novel. The culture of west of the last hundred of years has been about deconstructing beauty and distorting all that is innately beautiful into something vile and vulgar. In a sense contemporary art idolizes barbarianism. To be a reactionary, you have to idolize all that is beautiful and truthful. In other words, you should set out to seek God through everything you create. It's an inward journey. The modern man hates journeying inward, hence why its work is devoid of substance, depth and meaning. It is only from this personal and introspective connection with what we could call God that authentic and timeless works can emerge.

I see the logic in this, but I do also see it as a way of cucking and being inauthentic as a person who is an artist.

But I think that brings me to a larger point about the purpose of this thread. Which is that there needs to be a new market for artists to serve and earn a living. The new market would be willing to listen to right wing ideas.
So the question is how can anons develop this market. And memes (as ideas) tend to be the best answer imo.

I spent probably the last 5 or 6 years trying to do that. I finally came to the conclusion that it's more or less impossible for me. Every job I've ever been able to find has been an all-or-nothing sort of scenario. Even if I specifically go for something part-time so I still have time to work on art I always end up getting forced by my employers into going fulltime and working massive amounts of overtime. By the time you get home you're so worn out you never end up touching art again. Even though I'm making superficial stuff now it's better than being worn out all the time and making nothing. Sometimes I'm at least able to sneak in little bits of more meaningful stuff into my art. Gotta trojan horse that stuff in there or the normies will turn their noses up at it.

I was in a nationwide touring band, in the jam band scene. Basically a drug band. Even tho some of my band memebers were redpilled the entire music scene is so fucking kiked that I left tour life and now I just do live synth wave youtube / twitch streams. Such a better life than living in a van with 4 dudes for years on end.

This. When I spend 99% of my time on some unrelated job and never have the time or energy for art it makes me want to an hero. I would rather have to cash in on the Thomas Kinkade crowd and at least be using these skills I've spent more than a decade developing. Later when I get more stable financially and have more of a following maybe I can slowly transition into more meaningful stuff but for now this is much preferable to wageslaving.

Creative anon here, though I’m not currently in a creative field, I am however in a very dynamic and fast paced one. My success has been in the way I approach problems that pop up, every day is something new in my job, and I actually use my artistic problem solving skills more than one might imagine, especially when dealing with the public, which I consider my audience. Although I don’t paint much these days, I feel I’ve done some of my best creative work in my life the past few years, and it has positively effected many more people than any of my paintings have.

I personally think that the ability for creative people to live stream is a brand new medium that the right wing has a good grasp of. More streamers, more collaborations.
There needs to be a way for us to connect without glowies and shills finding out and subverting it but I don't have any ideas.

Memes won't push an individual to a place which they were not already prepared to enter. I'm afraid that at present moment the right wing culture does not have enough momentum in it to invite in the amount of people required for forming a thriving cultural niche solely by the force of memes. I think the time just is not fully right yet, kind of like how people were not yet ready for Hitler in the 1920s. Though it certainly is a good idea to begin brainstorming rudimentary ways of popularizing the right wing culture today, when the time is right, the collective shift will happen by itself. Fair points. So far I have circumvented this problem by becoming unemployed. Currently 5 years in. Unemployment is pacifying in its own way though, even if you try to keep yourself productive. I imagine I could be almost as productive even while doing a full time job as long as it was not physically demanding.

An hour or two isn't enough to get anywhere if your doing any artwork that is remotely detailed. I work 8+ hours a day on art and it's still slow going churning out finished work. I've worked nightshift too. That doesn't give you more time it just reverses your sleep schedule. I did find a way, it's called "making art that people actually want to buy". I fail to see why people get so mad about this concept. It's not like I'm resorting to drawing furry porn.

I used to show in galleries in Denver, until I realized that I am a horrible judge of what would sell and how to sell it. I would be amazed at the crap of mine that people did buy, and the stuff I personally liked that no one was interested in. Also, most people seem fo buy art that matches their couch.
After that I focused more on portraits and dabbled in tattooing, since it’s one of the only artistic fields where the direct and traditional artist/patron relationship exists.
But life took me elsewhere.

I would take issue with this and cite dialectical theory and analysis. In dialectics you have two starting positions that are known, and in the middle is the synthesis of the two positions which ends up being unique and original even though it has roots in two previously know positions.
IMO there is a truly unique position that emerges IRL because we are "beings in time" that can effect the world and that is necessarily unique.
I think that given communication advancements (a mutt and muslim in norway can talk to each other digitally, instantly) is the best opportunity anyone has had to make an impact IRL. I don't think we need to wait any longer. The time is right for this. I think creative anons are the ones to figure out the way.

TL;DR kitsch is basically pretty decorative shit with little to no substance such as Thomas Kinkade paintings of pretty houses.

Yes that is what I meant by connections. I would say that you need to be aware of the two starting points in order for the synthesis to convey its intended meaning to you. For ex. hearing that "jews control the US" doesn't mean much unless you have first separately noticed that there is an obvious undercover agenda behind the US politics, and that jews have, for some reason, been expelled from hundreds of times in the past. The memetic synthesis has to result in a moment of insight in order for it to be effective.

Hollywood, art, and music is all nepotistic incestuousness jewishness. I think right wing artists are a little more hesitant about releasing their work, but i believe they are also restricted through jewish gateholders. Any "art" we see today has to go through the jewish advertisers, and jewish media peons. Quality art doesn't get a chance. And people that create beauty are brainwashed into thinking people want despair and billie eilish music industry plants.

Sargent was one of the best. His paintings are a mess up close but 10+ feet away, they are unbelievable. Some of his strokes look like they have been scribbled on with crayon, and then from a distance, pure perfection.

I've been saying this for over a year now. We creative anons need to take back our culture and do it with creativity. I don't think anons understand how powerful that is. Create good stories, art, games, short movies, comics/manga, pictures, music, youtube videos, sculpture, anything creative with a European element to it! It doesn't have to be redpill stuff although that could be useful too, it just has to be European beauty/greatness or simple fun stuff involving Europeans. As soon as we have creative anons out there getting attention, we'll start to win faster. Our people are hungry for European culture/creativity/art. Let's give it to them.

well just to be clear, I'm not suggesting people "play both sides" of a dialectic, as we know some people try to do. However, artists can interact with an ongoing cultural dialectic by taking one side of it and trying to establish influence.
"Intending" to achieve a certain outcome I think is folly because ultimately when dealing with culture, as artists do, things tend to take on a mind of their own after a certain level, regardless of your intention. This is the uniqueness I'm trying to describe.
The current cultural dialectic I have seen described is between Irony and Sincerity, which has been apparent for a few decades. The west is swimming in Irony, nothing means anything and whenever someone tries to be sincere they get taken down by some shithead nihilist. Sincerity is the one side of the dialectic that anons should take up IMO. Honoring Truth through art sincerely. This is how to win the culture wars across the planet, by having younger people tell the boomers that their nihilism has fucked the world over and now it's time to respect Truth and meaning.

Yes. That's true. I have a tiny studio in my office. It's only 5 feet wide but 20 feet long. So I keep my pallet 12 feet away from my canvas. This has really helped me improve. And lose weight. Because I'm walking back and forth every time i need to reload my brush.

Beauty is political. And it's on our side.
We need an art war. A movement called something like "New Greatness" or whatever. An adoption of traditional technique, infused with new ones. A string quartet set to a well-sculptured electronic rhythm, or things like that.

The goal of this movement should be to renormalise beauty, greatness and a transcendental 'upwards-looking' view of the world.
A revolt against this mundane, boring view that art should be about trivial, human things, or that it should carry a message of 'equality' or be inclusive or whatever.

Art should be something to bask in the glory of. And in the case one is supposed to recognise oneself in art, one should see the best of oneself - Greatness, not weakness. Hope, not mundane worries. A vision of glory. A rejection of the concept of 'kitch' and a united front in the defense of the picturesque and sublime, against the tide of ugliness and smallness.

I'm thinking greatness sells by itself, if people are exposed to it. Originality and greatness are the two things lacking in art today. What greatness lacks is exposure and promotional voices.

I think that's a possible attack vector.

We need to play their game. We need to rack up the value of our own art by having rich people, who are on our side, visibly and publicly pay for it. This is how they control the art world. I know this for a fact.

It works like this: They buy the stuff from shitty artists for shitloads of cash, and then everyone assumes the art is great because of its 'worth'. Both the artist and the 'art collector' profits from this arrangement.

We need a similar solution. Think, frens. Think.

But many of the 'realistic' motives are frankly boring. Needs moar dynamism. Beautiful, accurate portraits and so on are unfortunately kind of outdated since we have automated that in form of photography.

We need old, aryan myths, and the forward looking science fiction of the 50s and 60s, and the best of modernity and technology without the bullshit. Not just a revival, but a revitalisation and a renewal.

Nobody will be interested in things that have already been done, so we need to reinvent our culture for a new age. In a fashion true in intention to the original.

If it's musical you can definitely practice after work. I would come back from my uni studies (home at around 5:30pm), eat, and then do some homework, and manage to fit an hour or two of my instrument around 8pm.

As some other anon mentioned, the Neofolk/Martial Industrial music scene is where it's better formulated nowadays (beyond RAC and NSBM, which are also there), but i don't know of any similar movements in the visual arts, nor in literature (fiction, I mean).

As far as audience interaction, I prefer streams that are more like modern versions of radio talk shows. Occasionally reading messages from the audience, but mainly entertaining/informing based off a loose outline for that particular stream(show)
I was at the electronics store the other day picking up a usb audio interface, and noticed that all of that gear for streaming, including ring lights, where moved to the front of the store. There were also three other people browsing in that sections picking up similar gear. It's only getting more and more popular, and decentralized.

Simple but effective for what it's doing. Atmospheric af!

Only thing I can say that's negative is the synth needs a little bit more dynamism in the timbre. Some small aspect of randomness that make the instrument sound more alive.

Like, a really, really small amount of, maybe a flanger, can break up the monotony. It just needs to be enough so the triggering of the note doesn't sound repetitive - I can't stress how little is needed for such an effect.

Alternatively just a slight variation on the sound through midi automation of some synth parameter.
It's hard to tell without knowing which synth you use.

I think a full DAW is worth having. Studio One can be pirated. I bought it, but before that I pirated and it worked fine. I used Logic before, and also Ableton Live. I reccomend Studio One or Logic. Ableton is for very specific needs - i.e playing electronic live sets, so that's not recommended.

There are great, mostly Russian, trackers for audio software and plugins. Audiotorrentz is a great site if you're just starting out.
Investing in an orchestral library, like EastWest CCC or whatever Native Instruments is doing, is also great if you have the cash.
Native Instruments software is _easy_as_fuck_ to pirate, so that's another useful piece of information.

It's hard to say, yeah. In the case of this piece in particular, I think it sounds kind of "climactic", so that's part of it. And also probably because of the repetitive string strokes. That always sounds cinematic. But again, I don't really know.

Artist here. I used to do the website for a local art group for several years. Kinda quit, and went into blogging, writing, and doing research into politics, religion, espionage. With that content I blog.

I can do HTML, rss style sheets, adapt javascripts, gimping images, little 3d modelling. Made lots of websites on free hosting sites.

Also studied drawing and sculpture, did some cartoons, but have a hard time to making things when no one asks me to.

NYAA grad here. I don't recommend going to art school. Start watching Glenn Vilppu videos and stuff and learn on your own. With the online resources there are now you would do a lot better learning on your own. If you do go to an art school take your time to heavily research it and go to one that will net you technical skill above all else. Art theory is a waste of your time and degrees are essentially worthless. If I could go back and fix all my stupid decisions I would've skipped college altogether and just gone somewhere like the Florence Academy.

I think it would be nice to make some kind of basic blog or wordpress site where we could turn these threads into some actual sharing place, where people could share their creations with other /pol/acks. I've posted stuff on /ic/ before and didn't think it was that bad. There are always a few pricks but I think it is important for any artist to be able to deal with criticism and it is certainly a good place for that. I think the worst issue for a beginner artists would be the well-intentioned but crap advice from complete messers. I'd say dedicated websites are better from that point of view if only so you can see the actual skill level of people who are giving advice.

Unfortunately Google has put a shadowban on that website in 2017. Lots of other websites have been shadow banned at Goolag in 2017, since Donald Trump won.
It's more about research into Dutch hidden history, than art, but I actually like to do design more than writing and research and writing.

Shadowbanning has been going on a lot longer already though, usually websites I make get on top of search in a month, than get shadowbanned in two months. Google really has people working to check every website, and most blogs get banned anyways because they are blogs.

Pittsburgh itself actually isn't too bad a location for artists. Much more affordable than the bigger cities like NYC and LA but still a decent art scene. Have a masters in art. Art school can be useful in some ways, for 90% of it you won’t grow unless you’re self driven. People can tell you how to paint but the only way to learn is to put in hundreds of hours. Almost every student with a bachelors makes pure shit art and have wasted their time, most of them also have no real understanding of art either. Despite the circle jerk it’s not just full of hardcore left leaning people either although that is the majority of people in arts, just depends on luck of the draw with people in your year but I’ve encountered plenty of right leaning students. One big noob mistake most new artists make is that they want to make work that illustrates something, which is almost always garbage. It’s the equivalent of a film packed with too much exposition instead of just showing the ideas. As for people in this thread at large, your intentions are find but most all of you are so massively uneducated in art and the history of art you just look naive and ignorant. I’m not saying that to be mean or dismissive btw, it’s just the truth.

If I were to ever get into painting or drawing or coloring, I'd just want to do landscapes or naked chicks. I'm only speaking for myself, but I think our best path is to focus on mass media "art" not fine arts, simply because I think that is what anons are best suited for.
Paintings are nice, but they don't really change anyone's mind about philosophy or politics.
Generally, I wish "mass media" was brought up to a higher level. Make the masses smarter and more refined through cultural means.

Shadow banning became a thing in about 2010. Before that time, websites with information that could harm plans at the top, where just destroyed. I lost a lot of websites that way.

To hack shadow banning by Google, I figured I could do that with my blog, by copy and past every article in a new blog account, post it there, than 2 month's later do it again. I would bypass shadow banning in the past by using a forum account, instead of a blog account, than blog there with several personalities. That website did well for a while in search, but is has become hard now to find hostings that will give free forum accounts.

I worked a company once for a short while, where I had to bring websites in top search results at search engines results. At that time, only porn was censored, but since Trump won, all politics that isn't politically correct gets shadow banned.

Today was looking for images for an image to make in Gimp, all images I found in search where form before 2017. Search results become worse through the years, but Google was already the best search engine in the 1990's, it's hard to compete. Duckduckgo uses the google index, so the shadow bans also work on there, as with other meta search engines like Startpage.

Depends what you mean by right wing. There are tons of libertarians in music. Frank Zappa probably the best, his interviews are fantastic. One of the most creative musicians ever also.

A lot of the most iconic classical composers were right wing too. The idea that the arts is for leftists is a nonsense myth, the upper echelons of both classical and jazz music (the highest IQ genres) are rather conservative.

I think it depends to a certain extent what medium you work in. If you are making actual 2D art objects, then you have more leeway, because at the end of the day, the art world wants your product if its any good, and they will ignore your opinions to get hold of it. If your work is in a more ephemeral medium like video or installation, you are really dependent on being seen as a good goy by the (((galleries))).

my dad used to be an airbrush artist, rather basic, and he taught me a thing or two.
i think you don't even need a paint booth because most if not all airbrush paint is acrylic based, you just need to get it clearcoated by a professional painter afterwards.
i'm getting flashbacks of my dads airbrush books now, pic related.

Any other musicians here feel like everything is just a cliche now. I spent years trying to get good at the guitar just to realize everything is just tired ass pentatonic licks and scale masturbation.
