Hey, that's not a bad idea.
I'd thought of doing something like the full Back to the Future trilogy before but I don't know if that would start to drag.

Bubblegum Crisis is 5 and a half hours long, the spinoff sequel thing is like 2 hours 20 minutes.
If we're doing 80's scifi I'd like to watch Terminator or RoboCop I think.

I didn't have the right font so I'm encoding Akira subs as Comic Sans.
Also I'm pretty sure you could get a degree in ffmpeg.

Is only joke. I can't into ffmpeg and I was testing is all.
DejaVu Sans is a pretty font so I might use that.

Turns out you can encode subtitles directly from the source file, so I can use the font the subs were written for.
Does this mean softsubs actually embed the font file into the container?
