>>9379950That's true plants don't want to die. Evolution favors what leads to survival and reproduction. However killing plants for food is not comparable to killing animals for food for at least 2 reasons:
1. Plants don't have pain sensors, central nervous system or any type of nerve cluster resembling a brain. They can NOT feel pain NOR do they have consciousness.
2. The animals you eat eat more plants than you do. So even if plants could feel pain, fear, family bonds and joy like we know animals do then it would STILL be more ethical to eat plants.
