However, while quite a large amount of 4chan posters are essentially the alt-right equivalent of Soi Boys, there are some posters who try to invest their crippling loneliness and despair into more positive, or at least neutral outlets. A lot of 4chan posters have dependent obsessions with various things, such as comics, anime, toys, games both physical and virtual, or similar things. The reason people come to 4chan rather than reddit or other sites to discuss politically neutral topics, is because they don't really have to worry about censoring themselves. Due to the very structure of an anonymous image board, you don't have to worry about the social consequences of posting. If you make a Lego model of something politically incorrect, or cringy, or whatever, like a Bionicle with tits, you don't have to worry about people calling you out for it. Yeah, they might call it "gay" or "coomerposting" or whatever, but you won't get banned for creating original content.
Basically, 4chan has a ton of right-wingers who couldn't get any pussy if their lives depended on it, but, as a Jew myself, am willing to put up with as much "lel 6 gorillion" content as I have to as long as I don't have to deal with some mouthbreathing faggot calling what I say "sexist"
