I've come across an interesting conclusion in regards to low frequencies and caucasian people. It seems when you play a song with low, booming, deep bass they get frightened and bothered. And what's most funny about this range of sound that bothers them, is that most of the music that produces these frequencies stems from black music (HipHop/Rap). I had a subwoofer installed in my car and play new school hip hop that plays frequencies at 80Hz and less (Frequencies that give off deep sound waves that vibrate surroundings). White people who are walking in the streets and driving their cars are noticeably scared or become nervous. They avoid eye contact as much as possible and put their heads down in fear. It seems black producers are onto something with deep resonating basslines in their music.
