Mom's on her third husband now, quite literally a month after her second divorce finalized. Lotta' stuff went wrong there, but tl;dr is she's a nutcase that I can no longer respect. Cut all contact with her outside of absolute necessity.
My dad's alright, though he has a bad case of "you remind me too much of my ex-wife so I'm gonna' vent my unresolved inadequacies on you" syndrome that spikes from time to time. At least he's palatable most of the time.
