Honestly speaking, mass genocide would solve most of earths current issues. Making more resources would just spoil an already spoiled populous, killing en mass would give incentive to the remaining survivors to continue to live and be more grateful for what they have, as well as feel a sense of purpose and destiny since they can feel that they were “chosen” to live.
