Fill me in on something. I was recently traveling in second world Europe (specifically the Balkan region) and despite hearing that the average income is less than 9,000 USD, and despite physically observing the poor living conditions that most live in (most live in ragged beat down homes that may or may not have indoor plumbing) and by the smell most can’t afford deodorant or water to shower on a daily basis. How the hell is it that these people are walking around in name brand clothing with wallets full of money, and whipping brand new Range Rovers? At first I thought maybe it was only a select few, but after observing its nearly everyone. WTF is everyone in this region actually rich or do they care more about expensive clothing than they do having good to eat? I don’t get it. Can anyone elaborate?
