Grand Strategy general!
What grand strategy games do you play, what games have you played, how you like them.

I'm into Stellaris these days, any opinions on it, or just on Paradox games in general?

Still play Civ V, probably best strat game I've played ever. Stellaris got really boring, really fast.

Have you played it recently, or when it was released?
After release it was really empty and bland, but nowadays after utopia and a bunch of content patches it's pretty good in my opinion.

On the grounds of civ, 4 grabbed me more than 5, I don't really know why.

Hoi4 I just can't get into, not my style, and it's kinda shitty in my opinion.
I'm also too lazy to get into vic2.
But I have an on/off with eu4. I love playing it, but the pathetic combat system can take away my will to play for weeks. It's like they made a nice system with multiple modifiers, then took a shit on it with the dices.

Try it with Utopia, Leviathans and all the updates, it's a lot more enjoyable. The early game is pretty slow, but after you get a couple of planets it picks up.

Aren't these browser games really slow? I tried one that was about ww1, but you had to dedicate half of your life to a single match.

I like Stellaris too. I hope synth empires can get some quality of life improvements. I put all of my planets in sectors when I go synth so the sector will build pops for me. But that's pretty unfun.

The bad part about building mechanical pops is the fact that you can only bould one at a time / it's slow. It should either be faster, or you should be able to make more of them at once.
