>>9431538i play percussion in an orchestra and at my university concert band, but played in a more "traditional" band (that later turned djent) for 4 years, so a lot of main drumkit stuff but if the piece is simple enough for the other percussionist then i play timpani and auxillary percussion (like triangle, wood blocks, tim tams, and stuff like that) because i pay a lot of attention to the subtle nuances. at this level i also can play second chair alto sax/flute and tenor sax, and have done trumpet and trombone, but i dont like playing brass as much as woodwinds. my main instrument is percussion though so i focus mainly on that and help my conductor with a lot of the subtler pieces and nuances
