France and Spain once ruled over a huge amount of land as you all know. Many countries speak both Spanish and French but the question still stands. Is French and Spanish obsolete and therefore useless to even attempt to learn in the name of trying to communicate with people around the world easier. I happen to speak Spanish and English fluently and I'm wondering if I should even attempt to learn French or practice my Spanish.
