No I think this guy I know has autism. He has a lot of obscure information memorized, is impulsive and has no sense of social cues.

I have both autism and ADHD which often got me into alot of trouble as a kid. Still does to some degree to this day.

There is some obese asbergers guy who I work with, he's only 28 and he's got sore bloated feet because he's so fat. He seems quite sociable with customers, he talks absolutely rubbish most of the time, he just acts eccentric imo.
What annoys me is how he eats do much, he's a fat fuck, will probably end up on disability when he's 30, gets maximum gibs cos he's obese and has assburgers.

that sounds like serious ADHD you should let him know. If he was a sperg you'd def notice more problems socially like how he'd enjoy obscure and innocuous things that aren't appropriate for his age. fiddling non stop and also murmuring coping words or phrases for anger or discomfort is a very telling sign of austism.

Autists might have one or two areas where they're really deeply into but ADHD's brain sucks information all the time from whatever might have caught their attention at that moment, they can't control what stays in their head and what disappears so knowing random shit from random topics is just what they do.

Don't remember exactly when I got diagnosed. Probably when I was 4 or 5, and yes I know when I am being impulsive but it can be hard to have complete control over your actions at times. Especially when you don't take your meds regularly, you lose focus and become forgetful.

I should probably be more specific about the signs I think he's shown. When I say he has a lot of obscure information memorized, I mean information on practically anything. This can be anything from knowing every bands songs from every album to random trivia like the difference between an anteater and aardvark. Its appropriate for his age I guess, just REALLY extensive. Also, when I say impulsive, I don't mean in any way that's really dangerous but he will frantically interrupt a conversation if he sees spills or crumbs anywhere. He's also quite squeamish and seems freaked out by the human body (hes still a virgin at 26). When I say no sense of social cues, its a bit of an exaggeration I'll admit because he does have a lot of friends. He just doesn't seem to be aware of whats appropriate for certain situations like reading erotic book titles loudly in a library, saying he thought his girlfriend would be dressed more like a skank at an event - awkwardly in front of her without an air of humor and saying stuff like "that's enough, I've had my fill" when hes done groping his gf ( he kind of talks like the guy from the good doctor when he says this stuff). His laugh is really obnoxious and weird sounding too. Oh and he's very detail oriented and really good at drawing/ music. He likes to draw comics about wizards and stuff like that. I think hes high functioning, I don't think anything is really wrong with him but I think he displays signs of being on the spectrum. He did that flappy hands thing as a kid too.

For me having ADHD has been more strictly attention based, I remember useless facts but keep them to myself, procrastination is a factor in my life, and I don't pay too much attention to detail oriented things. I generally don't really care and don't get emotional or nitpicky about things. Also there's a whole other stupid spectrum with ADHD where the "H" hyperactivity/impulsiveness can change depending on the person. I personally pretty much just have ADD.

He just sounds like a guy with some ASD but seems to be moving along in life just fine with a gf and all. I mean if you know him really well you can go ahead and tell him to consider getting himself checked out. Sounds like ASD to me for sure.

My ADHD is preventing me from learning and remembering information that is even remotely useful or important. Instead of becoming an educated scholar, I am experiencing an existential crisis that I will likely never fully recover from. Worst of all is having no one to talk and relate to. By leaving this shithole behind I hope to at least alleviate some of my problems and start over from scratch.
