True story. A couple of years ago, a female fren on mine was convinced her house
was haunted by a ghost. It was all the usual crap, lights going on and off,
weird smells, noises, doors opening and closing by themselves etc
She was so convinced her house was haunted, she contacted an
"exorcist"! The exorcist visited her house, said it was indeed
haunted, and preformed a ritual to banish the spirits presence. Of course, for a respectful financial
reward. It didn't work! So she contacted him again. He came back out and preformed another banishing ritual.
Of course, for a further respectful financial
reward. Obviously, this seems like a SCAM. But... after the second
banishing ritual, she said it worked, and she couldn't have been happier.
She said it was worth every penny. So... Are ghosts real, or was she
just hallucinating? And how did a so called "exorcist" manage
to get her to believe the ghosts were gone? He's not a psychologist. Or is he?
