You have. That way it can keep any particulate off of the mask and you can easily dispose of the cheap

Ultimately these are just ways for us to try and prevent getting it. It increases our chances of survival but isn’t a sure thing. Even the pressurized suits aren’t a sure thing unless you have a professional set up with the shower and the sprayers for the boots.
So we’re all just trying to find stuff to increase our chances of survival.
Realistically the only thing these masks are good for is wearing them if the outbreak gets to pandemic levels. Then at that point you put the mask on, goggles, gloves, boots and you duct tape them sealed on to your face around your wrists and around your ankles. You load your car up with all of your stockpiled supplies and make sure that when you’re loading them that they’re covered in Saran Wrap or plastic bags that you can immediately dispose of.
You want to make sure no dust or particulate that the virus can ride on doesn’t get on you or any of your shit.
Then you want to drive you car as far away from population centers as you can. The mountains, the Forrest, the desert. Doesn’t matter as long as it’s 100 miles away from a large population center and airport. Then at that point you honestly are just waiting it out by camping, cooking your stockpiled food and occasionally turning your car on and checking the radio to see if there’s any updates. Maybe charge your phone and hope for service to check on 4chan or whatever news site you trust.
Once the pandemic dies down you can get back in your car and return to your home.
The entire purpose of the mask and food isn’t to stay in your home. It’s to protect you during your escape.
