i just drank warm tea and ate nothing but chicken soup for two days and it got better
but you have to be willing to brew a big pot of tea, not just drink one cup of it. basically replace your intake of water with warm (but not too hot) tea. and drink it for hours on end. any time your throat thinks about hurting, take a sip of tea.
also i find those disgusting green and black teas nasty and bitter, so i drink herbal tea. chamomille and linden have a natural sweetness. honey and lemon is also good for the throat, but i just put lemon in me chicken soup. of course i got to cook it so i made the rules.
sure, as long as that lore isn't just scattered in books around the world like in elder scrolls but actually plays a part. the elder scrolls universe is pretty fucking wild actually, but you wouldn't know it from playing the games.
but if the world itself is mysterious, like in that hyperlight drifter game, or dark souls and i feel compelled to seek out info on the world, that's fine if the lore is hidden or scattered
