Homeland Security agents wheeled a heavily armored military vehicle into Queens Wednesday to nab an alleged gun trafficker who had stockpiled “a ton of guns and weapons,” authorities said.
Abraham Caban, 56, was arrested at his home on Forrest Avenue in Ridgewood about 11:30 a.m. and arraigned in Brooklyn federal court on charges of illegal possession or transfer of a machine gun.
Caban is accused of ordering illegal gun parts from China to convert Glock handguns into semi-automatic or fully automatic machine guns, according to a complaint filed by Homeland Security Investigations.
Agents seized 32 guns in his home — including several machine guns, according to the complaint, which was released Thursday.
