I think this guy is creepy as shit and my 8 month old son was born with a syndrome,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pierre_robin_syndromeIt was very mild but included a slightly cleft palate, and sleep apenia. We went to SLC to their childrens hospital (they are fucking based and 95% white- love it.) Anyways my kid has had to have a g tube for feeding because as we bottle fed it was to easy for him to aspirate but that was kind of known so they put the gtube in early so thats what we do. We had to skip breast feeding and are trying to get out of milk asap so he can learn to use his mouth and tounge and to maneuver soft foods asap. He may or may not need a cleft repair, he's doing really good but its hard to say until the studies are done.
Anyways I had to watch my 3rd child be taken out of the birthing room in less than a couple minutes and from there it was nicu and a new city (boise), then from their it was SLC where they knew what was going on. I spent weeks and my wife spent months down there with him... So while he's strong as shit and other that feeding through a tube hes like all my other kids but those early days, man the people and families we saw at the ronald mcdonald house in LSC... People with kids that had less than half a heart, people with kids that had a syndrome that meant they won't live beyond 8 months... so much suffering and tragedy and families trying to cope. So much hope.
So I think this guy is a bit creep but at the end of the day what he provides to those families is worth more than gold. You people have no idea how scary it is before its all sorted and even then it can be a fucking roller coaster of life, disability and death.
