You guys take the airship to where the civilians are being evacuated. it hovers in an area far enough, that you guys aren't spotted.
You see hundreds of civilians being guided by about 20 or so soldiers. some of the civilians are in vehicles for the ones that can't walk, like babies and elderly.
You also don't spot asuka among the crowd yet.

Everyone was disarmed upon entering. The only weapons here is the detonator that rikka sneaked in, and the guns that the guards are holding. There's 4 guards in total, each in a corner of the room.
Rikka: "Are you forgetting who leads them? The great commander Aki. It's because of her that the resistance grew so much. This is exactly what she wants you to do. Rush our soldiers to their death, while they set up defensive fortifications."
Sakura: "Aki? You're bringing up that name in my presence? It seems you really have lost it. I guess all those humans must've changed you..."
Rikka: "You're wrong sakura... I have changed on my own accord, through personal growth...You still have not grown. That's why you do not listen to others, and only believe in yourself."

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM. explosions come from multiple sides of the room. You and rikka are dazed, and can't tell if the empress died. also the guards are a bit dazed too, so they don't react yet.

there's no one chasing you so you don't need to run over anyone or perform evasive maneuvers. you're pretty close to the airship already.
in the distance you see the arume closing in now. It's a large army, but it seems smaller than their full force.
