As a government psyop, how does the ǫ4n0n movement hurt its believers?

If ǫ4n0n does have insider intelligence but it is a government psyop, specifically how does it work to the detriment of its believers?
Our society is set up so that we live in a state of fear, anger, bewilderment, and distraction. On a daily basis, most people in society focus on the most stupid shit possible, as you can see by the Trending tab on YouTube. Even though more people are waking up to how these societies we live in are a complete farce, how we have been lied to about many things about this reality we live in, the large majority of people are still sleeping.
