The numbers of confirmed cases are subsiding for several reasons.
It is more dangerous to seek treatment for illness at hospitals than to stay at home.
The hospitals are overcrowded and filled with dead bodies
The epidemic is already realized and there is no point to testing people anymore and just costs money, needlessly.
The ones who are not tested will never be added to the statistics.
The ones who die without being confirmed will never be added to the statistics.
People are quarantined in their apartments and not allowed to leave, they are left to die. Numbers which will never be added to statistics.
People are being turned away from hospitals due to overcrowding and lack of manpower and test kits.
People are dying in the streets, numbers that will never be added to statistics.
CCP are lying sacks of crap and will never give real numbers anyway.
Did I miss anything? Probably, there are so many reasons. I'll will update my list as we go on. It's obvious that Chinese infrastructure is stressed over capacity and things will only get worse. There is no point to even testing people anymore for this. These numbers will never be added to the statistics until perhaps speculation decades later.
