Race isn't real, take the ape pill

For reasons I can’t comprehend, many people cling to the concept of race realism. This applies to all races, but the usual subject when people talk about racism involves Africa, so that is what I will use as an example.

Genetically speaking, race simply does not exist. Take a man and women of two seperate “races”, and they will still be able to breed and produce offspring with a mix in the phenotypes of both parents, normally expressing more dominant phenotypes (Brown eyes, darker hair, etc). Subspecies cannot reproduce sufficient offspring 100% of the time, but every race of human can.

A common argument for africans somehow forming into a subspecies is the fact that humans started branching off away from africa 280k years ago. Even if they somehow stayed completely secluded for all of that time, this is still nowhere near long enough for a subspecies to develop.
Take the domesticated dog. We started breeding dogs about 100k years ago, and now they can be broken down into subspecies. The evolution of the modern dog is a best case scenario, given that dogs reproduce at such a fast rate compared to humans, and we selectively breeded them with the intent of changing their abilities. Even when these catalysts are introduced, dogs are all still of the same species, and they only recently have developed subspecies.

Another argument for race somehow existing is intelligence. People like to look at the global average and say “Blacks score lower on IQ tests, they can’t be the same species”. This conclusion requires the reader to ignore the fact that most of the population which expresses phenotypes relating to Africa are raised in less than perfect environments. Africa as a country is struggling financially, and in America most african Americans live in slums.
