>>9537206There is still so much we don't know about physics. Imagine what the glowies know. Imagine what insane alien tech they have. They have the technology to make nuclear power, oil, coal, wind, and solar power generation all obsolete, overnight, instantly. They don't give it to us because killing petrodollar dominance in exchange for cheap electricity would crash the economy and put us in the shit. The next couple decades are going to be hell, if any of us survive. And maybe, from the ashes, we might become a spacefaring people once and for all. God, I hope all of this isn't for naught. I hope some of us survive.
