I made a comment on his Youtube but I'll repeat it here. He tries to portray stoicism as being indifferent to or detached from the world but this is ridiculous. It's not a passive philosophy and this evidenced by the life of the actual stoics. Guys like Marcus Aurelius were in the world and trying to shape it to what they thought was good. The stoics evangelized and tried to teach people how to be happy and this is not what a detached philosophy would do.

As we see in Meditations 11:10, justice for the stoics is the father of all virtues. Justice is treating people as they ought to be treated, and to treat somebody is to act. It's an active virtue so to be stoic is to be active in the world.

Stoicism and Taoism are both a subset of (more sophisticated) Christianity.

Christianity was made up out of the Jewish Messianic movement and the existing religious and philosophical ideas of the time. They borrowed the dying and raising savior archetypes of Mithra and others. They borrowed miracles such as turning water into wine from Dionysus. They borrowed from the thereputians "Therapeutae." They borrowed from the gnostics. They borrowed from the stoics. If there is anything not birrowed in Christianity I'd sure like to know what it is. The whole thing is made up.
