You can learn 1 language right away without studying it. What language would you choose?

I'd choose Japanese
- very hard to learn
- watch anime without subs
- could help finding a Japanese gf

i would go for Russian, i know enough French to get by, which opens up communication with a lot of Africa, English obviously opens most of the rest, Russian would allow me to get by with most of the east, that only leaves out Asia which i dont really care about

probably learn nipspeak as well. assuming you learn to read and write as well, since China and Japan both use kanji.
German and French would be my second and third choices.

I speak German but I rarely use it. Most Germans speak English and my English is better. So even in Germany I don't even speak it. French and Spanish would be more useful, since wat more people speak it in countries where they don't English very good

Other languages like French and German are pointless since they belong to cultures that are committing suicide as we speak.
