Press the clutch pedal down (freewheeling), then steer while freewheeling carefully for an opening for a moment, then patiently counter steer to recover back to the lane, if that doesn't happen then clutch pedal up and strike gas, clutch down, observe and feel the car, adjust to further recovery, clutch up and gas, recover fully.
Everyday Nordic driving in iffy shitty conditions. We like our manual gearboxes up here.
>fucking whitetail deers are jumping on the road like yesterday Clutch pedal down. Steer patiently. Brake, but steer (impossible with automatic gearbox).
Manual gearbox provides you a complete control of your car. Because, you do not guide your car with just steering wheel, gas and brakes but genuinely with cutting off power that instant and therefore removing the drive slip, i.e. freewheeling patiently to evade collision and to create an opening to recover.
This is seriously genuinely about basics on how every man drives in Finland. I absolutely kid you not.
