>>9637627Yes they are and yes they do. By definition, non-flamboyant gays and passing traps are invisible so the whole lot of us get lumped in with LOUD N PROUD fags. A small degree of 'hey gays work here and are people too' is helpful if anything to show normal queers; I saw a pride parade once and was impressed at the lack of fetishists and shit, mostly was just churches and first responders and shit having some of their people walk who were gay to say 'hey look gays are normal people too' but that sort of work is undone by the ones who don't shut up about it. I think now that we have equal rights it's time to chill.
Hopefully people remember how their own groups are misrepresented in the media (see: gun owners) and realize the loud shitty people who act like they speak for everyone are just a terrible minority.
