Hey guys, I just turned 18 last week, and my parents are kicking me out next Tuesday. I have a job working at a hardware store, but my girlfriend left me last month and I like what few friends I have too much to bother them with taking care of me. I have $1200, no car, and no place to live. What the fuck am I supposed to do? I got held back in elementary school so I don't even have my diploma yet... I've considered the nuclear option (ropes and stools) but I worry about how messed up I would be if I failed. What do?

Find a place close enough to walk to work, find roommates whether their friends or off Craigslist you'll need them to help pay bills, and explain to your parents you have a plan to move out just need a little time and you'll be right on your way
