Amateur Radio is the most based and redpilled hobby in existence. Ham radio is:

>1) 99% white and male. Getting an AR license requires a noninsignificant amount of technical learning about radio to pass the exams. Women and minorities are almost completely kept out. Search images for ‘amateur radio club members’ or ‘ham radio operator’ and see for yourself. Even in diverse areas, clubs are a rare bastion of whiteness and maleness.
>2) not deplatformable. Nobody owns any frequency, as long as you don’t use obscenities (which have a strict legal definition with the FCC), you can’t be barred for political speech.
>3) useful for prepping and SHTF scenarios. With the right equipment, you can communicate around your region, nation, or the world even if the internet and the power grid goes completely down.

Due to the influx of chinese equipment, new ham radio equipment prices are at all time lows. With boomers dying off the same is true of used equipment. You can get started in the hobby for as little as $30.

>How do I get started?
You start with your tech license, this gives you access to the higher frequencies VHF. It requires taking a 35 question test on the basics of radio which you can take in your local area and costs $15. Once you have that you can upgrade to General or Extra which will give you access to all frequencies.
