Fortnite, the most popular video game in human history last October introduced fake programmed AI bots into the games and didnt tell anyone about it. Each game could have as many as 100% of the players being fake AI players. This makes the entire game meaningless because you arent playing against real opponents and showcasing your skills to anybody.

There was no backlash whatsoever because they control the reddit and information that comes out. The most popular game of all time which was only getting more popular has killed itself as me and my friends havnt been able to play since they introduced this update.

The most bizarre thing about this is that they made billions of dollars and threw their entire game away and then something as simple as a robot being in the game or a change to a gun in the previous season caused huge backlash but then when they do something as bizarre as remove real players from multiplayer there is zero backlash. People have been controlled to just accept it.
