>>9706031>>9706055Venice is a pain in the ass if you're not used to living in an maritime city filled with tourist all the year round. If you happen to stumble into a spring storm like me you'll spoil your vacation, and unless you're a loaded fuck you're gonna have to renounce to some services that will improve your experience. IIRC the average price for a 30 min ride is 80 euros, it's no wonder those fuckers resort to prostitution if they charge tourists so highly for a half an hour tour on a dumb rowing boat. On the other hand you can just get a weekly subscription which comes way cheaper and visit the nearby islands on ferry boats or take rides for the hell of it if walking all the way up to a place drains your energies.
>Tuscany tooFlorence is indeed the cradle of Italian renaissance but can also be stressful depending on the season. I prefer Pisa because it's a less crowded place and a comfier town for uni students, though a tourist may enjoy Florence more because of its sheer bulk of museums and monuments. Anyway I feel like 4chan has been duping me all along with the mutt meme cuz every american tourist i saw was either a german-looking white guy or generally paler than the northern italian types i see here. Can't say the same for Englishmen tho.
