>>9712495It is far more complex than that. Things have to be budgeted. Carelessness can't be incentivized. People can't simply be allowed to go see a doctor for every minor ache and pain, even if we had enough money there simply aren't enough physicians in this country to handle everyone. There are supply chain limits. Nutrition and substance use must be accounted for. You can't get the money from the rich because they'll move it elsewhere and make it out that on paper they basically don't have any. There are ways people could be made to pay for services rendered that could help not to have to plan every possible detail in advance. Private insurance vanishing would cause a lot of lost jobs and more importantly investments.
None of this is easy. But damn it, I'm still sick of needing a lawyer to know what I can even do with something I'm paying $600 a month for and never use.
