I've had nightmares lately where I'm in a black endless room unable to move, and shadow people would walk out of of the darkness and start twisting off my limbs leaving them on the floor and whenever I was limbless a large disembodied hand would come down from the ceiling and put them back on me like a Barbie doll, only for the shadow people to return and repeat the process.
