am i the only one that believes cars are evil? regarding economics, they make local communities unsustainable. they promote industry that exists based on artificial needs, like insurance, fuel, repair, etc.. regarding safety... well, how would you feel if everyone was operating chain saws in the same room, but the act of operating a chain saw was so normalized that they didn't realize they were putting themselves and others at risk just by using one. i mean, think about it. it's like, you get into this big ol' hunk of metal, which is so regulated it should be fucking obvious that it is dangerous, and then you proceed to travel at speeds man should never reach, burning gasoline, and putting passengers at risk, as well as civilians. it's absolutely fucking crazy if you look at it with no bias. but automobile industry is so fucking NORMAL that it is strange to be anti-car. in america, ALL households have car unless you live in fucking NYC
