Non the less I choose to think positively about this, sure it will be hard now but maybe people will learn to stop being profligate tourists as often as well and practice more common sense in terms of hygiene. As for the global economy in general well that kinda sucks especially for the Chinese, I'm not apposed necessarily to businesses and countries lifting their people out of poverty by exporting cheap goods so they can better develop things but we in the west rely to much and there are abuses as well as serious environmental effects that hopefully get better addressed and soled once this plaque is over but I won't hold my breath.
Lastly being a prepper won't be as socially looked down on for a while and the idea of self reliance will become more practiced again too. The only reason it's seen as weird is because the media either for entertainment or malice always pick the most crazy preppers for the big screen so that's why there's a schism of people who have bug out kits, bunkers, and over all supplies like such.
I dunno we'll see I guess.
