Which products are people emptying your local supermarket of?
Over here it's canned foods and pasta. There is none left. Also toilet paper, but that goes without saying.

Supermarkets have run out of meat and some fresh produce, in addition to all the toilet paper and canned food. My local shop had no onions or tomatoes left. Pharmacies are getting absolutely smashed by people wanting to stock up on that sort of shit as well.

I have connections in supermarkets I used to work for, so I have nothing that I am missing but I have to come by late so the plebs don't realise the privilege I was given
but to answer your question: yeast, tp, beans, fruits, vegetable, flour, vinegar, salt, sweets, sodas (heh, with all dentists closed I do wonder how they'll deal with cavities NOW), bagged goids especiall, bleach aswell as everything and anything that has sanitysing power, soap, there are pretty much only spices and more expensive condaments left

yea I have to agree with people that say this is overblown in some aspects. There won't be a nuclear apocalypse just because of coronavirus, preppers not only are wasting their time but also harming their comrades by buying massively products they don't need.
I think this is one of those situations where you need to have some empathy and think about others before you buy stuff

I saw the cheap cheeses, meats, bread, tp, wipes, egs, milk, and the cheap cereals empty. The expensive brands of many things were still available. We aren't dumb enough to buy memewater imported from the swiss Alps for 5X the price of normal brands.
