Also a rebublican supreme court justice is nice, the seeds of demographic change have already been planted and it's going to be very important to have a reublican majority on the supreme Court 10 years from now when it starts seriously bearing fruit since voter blocs are predictable and Democrats are going to be winning a whole lot of elections for quite awhile. Demographic change is the real intent behind immigration reform, it was actually discussed quite a bit in the DNC leaks. You only need to take a look at an electoral map of border states over time to confirm it, formerly reliability red states are edging closer and closer to being flipped as a direct consequences of lenient border and immigration policy.
