chrome is evil. just because 95% of people use it doesn't make it right. that also doesn't make using firefox wrong, but it also doesn't make it right either.
I don't think it's possible to pick any browser and still be a good person because by merely using it you're endorsing everyone who worked on it and mozilla certainly isn't a good company, system 1 (which owns waterfox now) is an ad company, palemoon is mostly developed by a furry and iceweasel is made by the debian team who are also not good people.
And with the introduction of webcomponents which you know google is going to rewrite recaptcha in, it's going to be down pretty much to only forks of contemporary firefox and contemporary chrome.
